- The Pivot Point Australia New Zealand Scholarship Program 2021 is promoted and organised by Artemis Education Group Pty Ltd, trading as Pivot Point Australia New Zealand (Pivot Point).
- Employees of Pivot Point Australia and Artemis Education Group Pty Ltd and their families are ineligible to enter.
- Nominees must be enrolled in a recognised hairdressing or barbering program (SHB20216 Certificate II in Salon Assistant, SHB30416 Certificate III in Hairdressing or SHB30516 Certificate III in Barbering) on an equivalent New Zealand qualification.
- Nominees must be enrolled in an Australian RTO or New Zealand School and have an active LAB, Fundamentals: Hairdressing or Fundamentals: Barbering licence
- Apprentices, full-time and part-time students are eligible for nomination.
- Nominees may be contacted by Pivot Point Australia for interview or to request a folio submission. Interview may be conducted via phone or video conference. By submitting a nomination, you agree that Pivot Point Australia has permission to contact the nominee regarding their nomination.
- Photos and other material supplied as part of the nomination may be used by Pivot Point, and its parent company, Artemis Education Group Pty Ltd to promote the scholarship program and Pivot Point’s products and services. The nominee will be credited in all instances.
- Photos and other creative work submitted as part of the selection process must be the nominee’s original work. Plagiarism or misappropriation will result in disqualification.
- All work submitted and time given is undertaken voluntarily. No work requested constitutes employment, a contract or offer of employment by Pivot Point and the nominee is under no obligation to provide any material requested, excepting that which forms part of Clause 15.
- Any expenses incurred as a result of entry and participation are solely at the discretion of the nominee and remains the nominee’s sole responsibility.
- Prizes cannot be exchanged or traded in lieu for cash. In the event a specified prize is not available a similar item of equal or higher value will be substituted.
- Prizes will be shipped within two weeks of announcement. In the event of unforeseen delays Pivot Point Australia will contact the recipient and advise updated ETA.
- Full or partial LAB scholarships will be credited to the winner’s RTO or School for the purpose of the student’s continuing 2021 access for the full calendar year.
- Your privacy is important to us. Pivot Point will not pass on or sell information to a third-party. Information provided will only be used for contacting nominees and for the process of determining a winner. Nominees can opt out of communication with Pivot Point Australia at any time.
- Winners agree to allow Pivot Point Australia to create and promote at least one interview and/or profile piece during 2021. Winners may be requested to provide a reasonable number of photos suitable for this purpose. This may be used on Pivot Point Australia’s website, social media platforms and in other promotional material.
- Final winners will be selected by panel comprising a minimum of three (3) judges selected by Pivot Point Australia. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
